Impact
The MSOE School of Nursing was built upon the strong foundation created from the Milwaukee County General Hospital School of Nursing (MCGHSN) and we are proud to be celebrating over 25 years of excellence. There have been many advances the last few years in the School of Nursing, including adding a mental health nurse practitioner program and opening the Ruehlow Nursing Complex expansion.
Private philanthropy to the School of Nursing empowers the program to:
- Increase realism in simulations to provide our students experiences that are transferable from the classroom to the real-world. Providing these labs give our students an area to practice and better understand a large variety of basic to complex scenarios.
- Expand our offerings within the program. As health care continues to become more specialized so does the demand for additional certificates or micro-credentials. MSOE is proud to offer these to our students to help them to continue to be competitive in the job market.
- Increased diversity among our students in the program by providing more scholarship opportunities to students underrepresented in the health care fields.
