Academics

Impact of Academics

MSOE's rigorous academics is the core of what makes us special. Every student who comes to the university is challenged to push themselves to solve real-world problems in a hands-on environment.  While we may have engineering in our name, MSOE is so much more than that. We offer nearly 20 undergraduate programs in engineering, business, nursing, and math, plus minors ranging from Spanish to marketing to user experience along with 11 graduate programs.

Every academic department on campus strives to prepare our students for their careers and instill an awareness of professional and social responsibility. Please consider supporting an academic department of your choosing.

Step Up To The Challenge!

Help us step up to the challenges issued by MSOE alumni to support various departments on campus. Gifts of any size count towards these amazing unlocking challenges. When we come together, we can do extraordinary things.

Dan Dornbrook '93 is challenging 10 alumni, faculty, staff and friends to make a gift to the Humanities, Social Science and Communication Department to unlock an additional $1,000 of support

Help us reach 20 unique donors to the EECS Department to unlock an additional $1,000 in support. This challenge is made possible thanks to alumnus and current parents Craig '88 and DeAnna Conaty whose daughter is attending MSOE and studying in the EECS Department.

Your impact can be increased thanks to a challenge gift from Hug Sleep, which was co-founded by alumnus Matt Mundt '14 and Angie Mundt. Hug Sleep will unlock a gift of $2,500 to the department if 20 donors make a gift to ME or IE during Giving Day.

Alumnus and Regent Ron Jensen '74 is challenging 10 alumni, faculty, staff and friends to make a gift to the Rader School of Business to unlock an additional $1,000 of support.
