Common Questions

Is there a minimum gift amount?

The minimum gift amount is just $5.00. Gifts of all sizes are greatly appreciated. When our entire community comes together to support MSOE, extraordinary things happen!

What if I can't find my preferred fund / area of support on the Giving Day list?

Giving Day highlights our most popular funds. If you do not see your fund listed, please complete the following steps. An MSOE representative may contact you if no account has been established for your preference:

1) Select the "Area of Support" that best aligns with your interest.

2) Under "Fund Designation," select Other.

3) A new box will appear. Simply enter a brief description of how you would like to designate your gift.

Is my gift tax-deductible?

Yes! Milwaukee School of Engineering is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization; your donation is tax-deductible within the guidelines of U.S. law. To claim a charitable deduction on your tax return, please retain the electronic receipt you receive by email as an official record of your contribution.

What if I am experiencing problems with the donation page?

Please omit symbols such as # and & (for example, Apt #31) from your form entries whenever possible. This corrects most processing issues. If your gift form is still not working, please contact us directly at 414-277-7110.

How is my gift to a team sport utilized?

Fifty percent of your gift to an MSOE athletics team is allocated exclusively for team use. The remaining 50% supports critical shared services, such as the university's strength and conditioning program, that make our athletics program possible. These shared services are supported through the Raider Athletic Fund.
